The irony.

We were at lunch today, quoting the Austin Powers series of films. We got to a team-favorite:
"I eat because I am unhappy. I'm unhappy because I eat."
Then we morphed it:
"I cluster because I'm not scalable. I'm not scalable because I cluster."
Some people are still afraid of the sort of thing products like ours do. I do think more and more architects each day feel like clustering is now has highly available as the database (or more) and yet far better at delivering low latency, high throughput, and linear scalability. Just a thought, but if you have been afraid to cluster, now is the time to take another look.
