Second book on Terracotta
posted by ari
Time to get started on the next book. Steve Harris (our head of engineering) had a good idea. "Clustered Design Patterns." I think he is just the man to help write it too. Any interest out there in such a book?

I think it would be of great interest ... a lot of developers out there lack awareness and knowledge about scalability-related problems and patterns.
Cheers,

I can't believe you've recovered enough from the first one yet to consider a second! :)
But count me in. :)

+1 for a book on clustered "design patterns"!

+1 for WAN clustered design patterns ;)

+1 but maybe change the title a bit because it's not really about software design but about architecture (design) so better titles would be:
- clustered architecture(s) patterns
- clustering architectural patterns
but to stay in tune with the current buzz words this one would probably sell more:
grid architecture patterns ;) or
grid architectural patterns
cheers,
